Local libraries may offer more than you expect. As well as books and magazines, libraries lend music, DVDs and computer games. Some have coffee shops and all offer free internet access. We need to use them or we will lose them.

Libraries

Exeter Library

Castle Street, Exeter EX4 3PQ, UK – 0845 155 1001

A superb library with lots of light, gorgeous gardens, a fair trade coffee bar and the most friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. I was made to feel very welcome when I joined and love spending time here on my studies.

Where have all the books gone? Too much space. Sci-Fi section is virtually non-existent as well as DVD and music. It is nice to browse and see something you would not normally read or listen to.

St Luke's Campus Library

University of Exeter St Lukes Campus, Heavitree Rd, Exeter EX1 2LU, UK – 01392 723867

Nice quite place for studying

Pinhoe Library

Main Rd, Exeter EX4 8HW, UK – 01392 466007

This library is open part-time only. The staff have been extremely helpful when whilst visiting parents in Exeter, we have needed their services.
